COA organizes workshop to mark International Olympic Day

Raipur: A workshop was organized by Chhattisgarh Olympic Association at Hotel Grand Imperia on the occasion of International Olympic Day. Durg University Vice Chancellor Dr. Aruna Palta, Chhattisgarh Olympic Association General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Hora, Dean of the Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University Dr Prof. Rajeev Choudhary, MPT Sports Dr Prashant Chaturvedi inaugurated the workshop.

While giving a lecture on the importance of health in world peace and unity, Vice Chancellor Aruna Palta talked about how people’s daily routine has become in this mobile era. Speaking about the importance of yoga, he appealed to everyone to be aware of their health, while making people aware about the increasing toxins in the body and the importance of maintaining a proper sleeping schedule. He said that since organs get more time to release toxins, everyone should sleep early and wake up in the morning and do yoga.
