A historic budget for employment,iInfrastructure, security, and welfare of the poor: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chhattisgarh president Kiran Singh Dev has welcomed the provisions made in the first full budget of the third term of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dev said that this budget will write a new chapter in the all-around development of villages, the poor, farmers, youth, and women. The BJP state president stated that the central government has allocated Rs 1 lakh crore for youth employment and skill development, and Rs 2 lakh crore for new employment, ensuring full support for young talents.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for making solid arrangements for the well-being of farmers by allocating Rs 2.66 lakh crore for rural development projects, setting goals for agricultural advancement, and providing Rs 11,500 crore for irrigation, along with new announcements focusing on 109 crops, pulses, oilseeds, and vegetable production.
He stated that the resolve to launch the Tribal Advanced Village Campaign reflects the central government’s commitment to the upliftment of tribals, benefiting 5 crore tribals across 63,000 villages nationwide. While the free ration scheme for the poor will continue, the central government has honoured women by allocating Rs 3 lakh crore for their upliftment and economic empowerment.
Welcoming the provisions made for small and medium enterprises, the BJP state president said that this will fulfill the resolve of a self-reliant and developed India. With the announcement of 3 crore new PM housing units and a new housing scheme for workers, the central government has also addressed issues related to education, health, free electricity, flood and waterlogging control in both rural and urban areas across the country.
He welcomed the simplification of TDS rules, changes in the income tax slab, and the increase in standard deduction, stating that this budget of the Amrit Kaal is balanced and significant in every respect.
