RAIPUR: Saraswati Nagar police arrested three persons near Vatika Nagar Road in Kota and seized 900 banned Nitrosun tablets, 77 bottles of Onerex cough syrup, cash, and a motorcycle on 16 September 2026.
Acting on a tip-off regarding individuals carrying illegal narcotics on a two-wheeler, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone) Robinson Guria instructed local police teams to take immediate action.
Police cordoned off the area based on specific descriptions and intercepted the suspects. The arrested accused were identified as Aryan Khan alias Rushan Khan (23) of Kota, Salman Khan (19) of Sanjay Nagar, and Sheikh Yusuf (40) of Nayapara.
During interrogation, the trio failed to produce valid documents for possessing the restricted pharmaceutical products. Police seized 900 banned Nitrosun tablets, 77 bottles of Onerex syrup, ₹4,200 in cash, and a Bullet motorcycle bearing registration number CG 04 KS 8663, bringing the total value of the seized property to approximately ₹4 lakh.
Authorities registered a case under Sections 21(c), 22(g), and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Saraswati Nagar police station. Investigators are questioning the accused to trace the wider supply network and identify other individuals involved in the illegal trade.
