NEET-UG First-Round Counselling Begins in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Online applications for the first round of NEET-UG counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges across Chhattisgarh for the 2026 academic session will begin on August 9.
According to the notification issued by the Commissionerate of Medical Education, applications can be submitted online from 11 am on August 9 to 11.59 pm on August 16.
The choice-filling and locking process will also begin at 11 am on August 9 and continue until 11.59 pm on August 17.
The medical education department has advised all applicants to thoroughly study the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental and Physiotherapy Undergraduate Admission Rules, 2025, particularly provisions related to reservation, counselling process and bonds, before submitting their applications.
The admission rules are available on the websites of the Directorate of Medical Education and the counselling portal.
The online application fee has been fixed at ₹1,000 for Unreserved and OBC candidates, ₹500 for ST and SC candidates, and ₹10,000 for NRI applicants. The application fee will be non-refundable.
