RailOne App Records 4.55 Crore Downloads, Averages 9.65 Lakh Daily Ticket Bookings; 3% Discount on Unreserved Tickets

Raipur: Indian Railways is continuously strengthening its digital services for passengers through the RailOne App, which serves as a Unified Digital Platform by integrating multiple railway services into a single application.

The app has crossed 4.55 Crore Downloads and currently handles an average of 9.65 Lakh Daily Ticket Bookings, including 2.75 Lakh Reserved Tickets and 6.89 Lakh Unreserved Tickets. Passengers can conveniently book both categories of tickets through the app.

To encourage Digital Payments, Indian Railways offers up to a 3% Discount on Unreserved Tickets booked through approved digital payment modes on the RailOne App. This benefit is available exclusively on the app and is not applicable on other online platforms or websites.

The app helps passengers avoid long queues at ticket counters, making travel more convenient for daily commuters, students, and working professionals. Digital Ticketing also supports better crowd management at railway stations and eliminates the need for exact cash transactions.

Key features available on the RailOne App include Unreserved Ticket (UTS) Booking from home, Reserved Ticket Booking, PNR Status Checking, Live Train Tracking, Running Status Updates, Online Complaint Lodging, E-Catering for food ordering, and Single Login access to multiple Indian Railways digital services.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Anurag Kumar Singh said the initiative aims to connect passengers with the official digital platform, promote Digital Ticketing, and make railway travel more seamless. He urged passengers to download the RailOne App and take advantage of its features, including the 3% Discount on Unreserved Ticket bookings.
