Average rainfall of 650.0 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur: According to the information compiled by the State-Level Control Room of State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 650.0 mm has been recorded in the state from June 1, 2022 till present. Likewise, from June 01 to August 8 today, Bijapur district has had the highest average rainfall of 1658.2 mm and Surguja the lowest 273.3 mm in the district.

The average rainfall recorded in various districts of Chhattisgarh, as per the information received from the state-level flood control room,  are as follows- 370.6 mm in Surajpur, 311.0 mm in Balrampur, 354.5 mm in Jashpur, 386.4 mm in Koriya, 423.4 mm in Raipur, 577.3 mm in Balodabazar, 719.2 mm in Gariyaband, 596.2 mm in Mahasamund, 717.6 mm in Dhamtari, 658.8 mm in Bilaspur, 658.9 mm in Mungeli, 576.9 mm in Raigarh, 735.2 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 486.9 mm in Korba, 585.1 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 578.8 mm in Durg , Kabirdham 610.1 mm, Rajnandgaon 662.7 mm, Balod 743.6 mm, Bemetara 410.6 mm, Bastar 989.3 mm, Kondagaon 746.0 mm, Kanker 858.1 mm, Narayanpur 744.7 mm, Dantewada 1029.7 mm and Sukma 737.2 mm.
