Former Governor Ramesh Bais Unveils ‘Training Trainers to Transform’ in Raipur

Raipur: A grand launch ceremony for the book “Training Trainers to Transform”, authored by Anurag Kumar Shrivastava, was organised at Vrindavan Hall in Raipur under the aegis of the Gudi Chaura Cultural and Literary Institution. The event brought together eminent personalities associated with social work, education, public health, administration and the development sector, making it a significant platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and social concerns.

The programme was attended by former Governor of Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Tripura, and seven-time Raipur MP, Ramesh Bais, as the chief guest. Principal Secretary of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, Sonamani Bora, attended as the chief invitee. Other distinguished guests included former Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh State Women Commission Harshita Pandey, Director of Chhattisgarh Social Audit Unit Dr Jitendra Singraul, Secretary of Chhattisgarh State Child Protection Commission Prateek Khare, and Joint Director of the Public Relations Department Pawan Gupta.

Addressing the gathering, author Anurag Kumar Shrivastava said the book encapsulates his 25 years of professional experience in the field of training and development. He noted that the publication elaborates on effective training methodologies, community participation, leadership development, behavioural change and practical grassroots experiences. According to the author, the book would serve as a useful guide for trainers, social workers, development professionals and students.

Former State Women Commission Chairperson Harshita Pandey said such programmes promote awareness, dialogue and positive social change. She praised the author’s contribution and described the book as highly beneficial for those working in the fields of training and community development.

Speaking on the occasion, former Governor Ramesh Bais said trainers have a crucial role in building a developed India. He stated that effective training acts as a powerful medium for bringing positive transformation in society.

The speakers collectively observed that the present time demands effective training and leadership rooted in a humane approach more than ever before, and termed the book an important effort in that direction. The dignitaries jointly unveiled the book and extended their best wishes to the author.

The programme was conducted by Sarwat Naqvi, whose engaging anchoring added vibrancy to the event. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Chandrashekhar Chakor, president of the Gudi Chaura Cultural and Literary Institution.
