Health Department cuts the no. of Hospitals outside the state available for treatment of gov employees.

Raipur | The Health Department has given a blow to the employees, officers who are on strike for DA and HRA. The number of hospitals identified for treatment has been cut. Earlier, treatment facilities were available in 40 hospitals across the country outside the state. Now it has been reduced to just two.The state government issues a list of hospitals for the treatment of government employees, and later the department reimburses them. Till last year, in 87 hospitals inside the state, government employees could get treatment, which has now been reduced to 73. The same 40 well-known hospitals across the country outside the state of Chhattisgarh were placed in the list last year, but now only two hospitals in Nagpur have been included in the list. The government has also abolished the practice of getting treatment in Delhi’s hospitals.State President Sarva Teachers Association Vivek Dubey has demanded to keep the number of hospitals unchanged, calling it an injustice to the employees.
