The recruitment process of 10,000 new teachers will start soon in the state: CM Baghel

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Assembly on Friday passed its supplementary budget of Rs 2904.41 crore for the ongoing fiscal. Replying to the discussion, the Chief Minister made several major announcements. He said that the recruitment process of 10,000 new teachers would start in the state at the earliest. He said that after the year 1998, 14,000 teachers have been recruited by the state government, who are being appointed after verification of documents. He also spoke about the state government’s initiative to procure bovine urine from the ‘Hareli’ festival saying that this will promote organic farming.He said that 163 mobile veterinary units would be started soon for the treatment of animals, for which a provision of Rs.10 lakh has been made in the supplementary budget. The units to be set up in Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park being developed in Gauthan will be given the benefit of Half Electricity Bill Scheme in the total electricity bill without any limit on the consumption of electricity. The Chief Minister said that Rs 19 crore, 9058 educational and 2565 non-educational posts have been sanctioned for construction of additional rooms in nearby government hostels for residential facilities for the children of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School. Provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for providing free electricity to irrigation pumps up to 5 HP, Rs 115.37 crore for concession in electricity bill to 41.16 lakh domestic consumers under Half Electricity Bill scheme, 17 lakh BPL consumers under Ekal Batti Connection Scheme. The Chief Minister said that provision for construction of 02 major bridges have been made in the supplementary budget under Public Works Department, 15 construction works under Central Road Fund Scheme, 02 bridge construction works under Jawahar Setu Scheme, and 14 rural road constructions under Basic Minimum Service Scheme.
