Top Naxal Leader Ganesh Uike Neutralized: A Decisive Blow to Left-Wing Extremism, Says Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai

Raipur, December 25, 2025:
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has termed the neutralization of Ganesh Uike, a top leader of the CPI (Maoist), as a “decisive achievement in the ongoing fight against Left-Wing Extremism.”
Uike was eliminated during a joint security operation carried out in the forested border areas of Kandhamal and Ganjam districts of Odisha.
Chief Minister Sai said the action marks a direct strike on the backbone of the Naxalite network, sending a clear message that “there is no longer any safe haven for Naxal violence anywhere in the country.”
Calling the operation a significant step toward realizing the national goal of eliminating Naxalism by March 31, 2026, the Chief Minister praised the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strategic guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He stated that under their leadership, the nation is advancing rapidly toward the complete eradication of Naxalism, driven by the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
Sai commended the extraordinary courage, valor, and professionalism of the security personnel and officers who participated in the operation.
“The government’s message is crystal clear—abandon the path of violence and join the mainstream, or the law will take its own course,” he asserted.
The Chief Minister emphasized that peace, development, and trust define the identity of a new India.
He noted that the government is continuously creating new opportunities for infrastructure, education, healthcare, and employment in Naxal-affected regions.
At the same time, it remains committed to the rehabilitation and dignified reintegration of youth who have strayed into violence.
Expressing confidence in the combined strength of people’s cooperation, security forces’ bravery, and clear policy direction, Sai said the vision of a Naxal-free India will soon be fully realized.
