Raipur: Officials of Chhattisgarh have received ballot box and other election materials for the Presidential Elections 2022 due on July 18 from the Election Commission of India located in New Delhi. Assistant Returning Officer Dinesh Trivedi and Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Vinay Kumar Agrawal bring these materials to Raipur. They will reach here by air at 07:45 pm today.
Meanwhile, complete security arrangements were ensured by the Housing Commissioner and the Election Commission during the receipt of ballot boxes and voting materials for the Presidential election. Ballot boxes and polling materials received from Election Commission of India have been safely transported to New Delhi Airport. On arrival at Raipur airport, these polling materials will be safely escorted by the state police to the strong-room located in the Vidhan Sabha premises. These will be kept safe in the strong-room till the date fixed for voting i.e. on July 18.
