Raipur Breaking News: Major EOW–ACB Raids Across Chhattisgarh, 20 Locations Under Scanner in Patwari–RI Promotion Scam

Raipur. The EOW–ACB joint teams launched a major crackdown across Chhattisgarh this morning, conducting simultaneous raids in connection with alleged irregularities in the Patwari to Revenue Inspector (RI) promotion examination.

According to initial inputs, search operations are underway at 20 locations across the state — including Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Gariaband, and Mahasamund.

Houses and premises of officers who were recently promoted from Patwari to RI are being searched. The teams are examining documents, digital devices, and records linked to the promotion process amid suspicions of large-scale manipulation.
