Sukma: In a major operation in Sukma district, security forces have recovered 10 Naxal bodies. The encounter took place between the DRG (District Reserve Guard) and CRPF forces and Naxalites from the Konta and Kistaram area committees. The operation was carried out in the forested and hilly regions near the villages of Korajuguda, Dantespuram, Nagaram, and Bhandarpadar within the Bhejji police station limits.
So far, recovered weapons include INSAS rifles, AK-47 rifles, SLR rifles, and several other firearms. The search operation is still ongoing.
Authorities have confirmed that the operation is part of a larger strategy to eliminate Naxal forces in the region. Detailed information will be released after the operation concludes.
