State govt promises thorough investigation in PSC Selection Case

Raipur: In a recent development, the Chhattisgarh High Court has taken up the petition related to the Public Service Commission (PSC) selection process. According to information received from the Advocate General’s Office, the state government has assured the court that a comprehensive investigation will be conducted into the matter. Based on the findings of this investigation, the government will submit its response to the Court.

Furthermore, the government has informed the court that, pending the next hearing of the case, candidates who are under scrutiny and have not yet been appointed will not be further finalized. Those candidates who have already been appointed will be subject to the court’s orders, as deemed appropriate.

In light of these developments, the Court has scheduled the next hearing of the petition to take place in a week’s time. The Court has issued directives to both the State Government and the Public Service Commission to thoroughly investigate the claims made by the petitioner to determine their authenticity.

Additionally, the petitioner has been instructed to include the selected individuals as parties in the case and make the necessary amendments to the petition. The Court has issued a warning to the petitioner, stating that if the information provided is found to be false, appropriate action will be taken against them.
