Chhattisgarh: Swami Atmanand School Principal to get National Teachers’ Award

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and extended his best wishes to Dr. Brijesh Pandey, Principal of Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School Brahmapara Ambikapur, for being selected for the National Teachers’ Award-2023. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, President Droupadi Murmu will honor Principal Dr Pandey with the National Award on September 5 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Education Minister Ravindra Choubey have congratulated Dr Pandey, saying that Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools were established in the state to provide quality education in English medium to children. Dr. Pandey’s selection for the national award will inspire other teachers and principals as well. This notable achievement in the field of school education has ignited a sense of enthusiasm throughout the education sector in the state, including the Surguja district.

Selected for the National Teachers’ Award, Dr. Brijesh Pandey has made significant contributions to igniting interest in science and promoting young scientists. Under his guidance, models of several young scientists have been showcased at the national level. Dr. Pandey was also honoured with the Governor’s Award in 2018. He played a vital role in designing activity books for primary school children.
