God resides in people, Serving them is our duty, says CM Baghel

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited the Sipat Assembly Constituency on Thursday as a part of his state-wide ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. Amidst his busy schedule of programmes, he took time to listen to the recitation of the episodes of Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran, which was organized by the villagers in Sipat. The Bhagwat Mahapuran programme is being held from May 4 to May 12.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Chief Minister said “Just as we worship the goddess in temples, we should also respect the power of motherhood in our homes. The society that respects women progresses, while the society that denies women their rightful place lags behind. Women today are establishing their strong identities in every field. They are entitled to receive appropriate respect in society and our government is committed to giving women the complete respect they deserve. God resides in the people and serving them is our duty.”

Revenue and District In-charge Minister Jai Singh Agrawal and Parliamentary Secretary Rashmi Singh were also present.
