Raipur’s five major roads to get a facelift under beautification project

Raipur: The roads of the capital city Raipur will now look even more beautiful. During his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ programme in the Raipur North Assembly Constituency on Monday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the beautification work of five major roads in the city at the Ghadi Chowk event. An amount of Rs 40 crores will be spent on the beautification of these roads.

As a part of the beautification project of Ghadi Chowk–one of the prominent squares of Raipur city–a wall painting has been created in front of the CSIDC. Chief Minister himself also participated in the painting of this wall and created the logo of the G20 summit. The phrases “Hamar Chinhari Hamar Chhattisgarh” have also been included in the wall painting.

As part of the beautification works, the beautification of five roads will be carried out including GE Road, VIP Road, Baloda Bazar Road, Station Road, and Pachpedi Naka Road. MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, Municipal Commissioner Mayank Chaturvedi along with many public representatives and dignified citizens were present on the occasion.
