Congress state in-charge Kumari Selja has reached Raipur for a visit. She said this about the protest at Raj Bhavan: “This issue is of an international level, also raised in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. The answer to the question asked in Parliament was not received. The opposition removed the things raised by former President Rahul Gandhi and Opposition Leader Mallikarjun Kharge from the record. Congress is constantly demanding answers from the government. That’s why we are raising this issue across the country. Under that, we will protest at the Raj Bhavan today.”
Regarding the politics at the PM’s residence and the BJP’s assembly gherao, Kumari Selja said the BJP only shows off in the country.
She further praised the development in Chhattisgarh in the last four and a half years. The work happening now hadn’t happened in the past 15 years. The BJP is probably trying to create issues by taking any excuse.
Kumari Selja stated that when the Congress held its General Assembly here, the National President authorised Kharge ji to make necessary changes. We changed our constitution. National President Kharge ji will act at the appropriate time, whether it is the CWC or whatever reshuffle is required at the central level.
