Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya signs MoU with Westford Education Group, London for exchange of programs and research

Raipur: An Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (Central University) and Westford Education Group of London, UK on March 02, 2023. The MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal on behalf of the GGV, Bilapsur and David Gleave on behalf of Westford Education Group, London, UK.

The MoU will facilitate the exchange of programsme, research, and innovation. Research scholars and teachers will be able to use each other’s sophisticated analytical instruments for conducting research. Students and faculty of Westford will have access to the 3 MV Pelletron Accelerator Center for physics and interdisciplinary research. Educational visits, joint seminars, and workshops will also be organized.

Earlier, Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal discussed in detail the university activities with the teachers of Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. He also exchanged views on the basic points of the agreement between the two universities. He discussed various provisions of National Education Policy-2020 which can be implemented by changing the courses according to the local needs.
