CM’s advisors Vinod Verma, Ruchir Garg are in the list

As a supplementary list of 15 leaders has been released by the AICC for the reception committee for AICC’s 85th plenary session being organised in Atal Nagar Nava Raipur, the first in Central India since 1939, two advisors of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel have secured their berth in the list.
This supplementary list is being seen as a tussle between the organization and those holding power in the government after. To be mentioned, two advisors of Vinod Verma and Ruchir Garg, the advisors to the Chief Minister, are also named in the list. It is being told that this list has been prepared on the recommendation of the CM House.
AICC national general secretary K C Venugopal had earlier formed a reception committee on February 3 comprising 114 leaders and made Chhattisgarh state President Mohan Markam as its president and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel as co-president. The names of all ministers, MPs, MLAs, state Congress office bearers and prominent leaders were included in this. It is said that the names of the leaders included in this list were sent by Markam, leading to discontent in a powerful section of the organization regarding this and to overcome it, a supplementary list was sent from the CM House.
The new list was released on Monday late eveningincluding Pratima Chandrakar, Chunnilal Sahu, Premchand Jayasi, Viresh Thakur, Vinod Verma, Ruchir Garg, Rajendra Tiwari, Safi Ahmed, Subhash Dhuppad, Vani Rao, Sushil Anand Shukla, Rajendra Sahu, Seema Verma, Rajni Netam and Aarti Singh.
The national convention of Congress is going to be held at the Rajyotsav venue in Nava Raipur from February 24 to 26. About 14,000 representatives from across the country including senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjuna Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, are going to participate in this.
The State Congress has stepped up preparations to accommodate the Congress leaders and representatives coming from all over the country. Three types of arrangements are being made for this. There is a plan to accommodate senior most leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka, Mallikarjuna Kharge at Nava Raipur resort. Hotels in Nava Raipur, Raipur and Bhilai are being booked for other leaders.
