BJP national president Nadda addressed a public rally in Jagdalpur, eying 12 constituencies of Bastar
Raipur
BJP National President J P Nadda reached Bastar on Saturday to address a public gathering with an eye on the 12 assembly constituencies of the division which holds the key in making Chhattisgarh.
After addressing the gathering, Nadda left for Narayanpur where he along with former chief minister Dr Raman Singh, BJP state president Arun Sao and other senior leaders paid tributes to district president Sagar Sahu who was shot dead by Maoists on Friday.
Nadda said that it was very sad to hear about the killing of Sagar Sahu. Naxalite attacks have increased ever since the Congress government came here. This tells about their administration. When Raman Singh was in government, there was happiness and peace. “But today I see that there is a deception. I want to tell through Dr Singh Raman that the very name of Congress is a deception,” said Nadda.
He said that Congress’s work is to divide, do politics,Atal Bihari Vajpayee took the initiative. He fulfilled his promise. I remember late Rajiv Gandhi and his family used to come here for picnics. During that time no attention was paid to development. Then when Raman Singh’s government came, development took place. JP Nadda said that the importance of light will be understood only when there is darkness. Many works were done in the Raman government. Tell me one work of the Congress government which they have done for the benefit of the people.
In Raman Singh’s government, three universities – Kushwabhau Thackeray Journalism University, SundarLal University and central institutions – AIIMS, IIM, IIT, IIIT had come up, he said.
An education city was built in Dantewada by spending 100 crores on 150 acres.
Nadda said that India has become the number 5 economy today and is second in manufacturing medicines. India is making 97 percent mobiles in Modiji’s government and now on number two. India is at number three in making vehicles. I tell the Congressmen that I will give you vision, but you will have to bring vision yourself. It took 25 years for TB medicine to arrive in this country, 30 years for pulse polio to become a national programme. It took India 100 years to get the medicine for Japanese fever. He said that in Modi’s government, two types of vaccines have been made in India itself. Bhupesh Baghel used to say, don’t apply vaccines. He secretly went and got himself vaccinated.
The Modi government has made people wear 200 croreprotective shields in the form of vaccines. 1200 students of Chhattisgarh were studying in Ukraine. Modi talked to Ukraine and Russia. He stopped the war and later he brought 25 thousand children of the country to the country. Only the BJP has the power to fight the Naxalites. If anyone can end Naxalism from Chhattisgarh and Bastar, then it is the BJP government.
Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that if our government is formed, 16 lakh houses will be built in Chhattisgarh. He told the public that, if you want housing, let the BJP win in the elections. When I asked Bhupesh Baghel why school and road work has stopped in the state, he replied that my job is not to build road schools. Work of Narva, Garva, Ghurva, Bari has to be done. Bhupesh Baghel said that we have given light to the darkness of Bastar.
JP Nadda reached Narayanpur after meeting in Jagdalpur and paid tribute to Narayanpur District Vice President Sagar Sahu. BJP with him State President Arun Sao, BJP National Vice President and former Chief Minister Dr Singh, former Minister Mahesh Gagda and office bearers were present. He has also spoken to Sagar’s family members.
It is believed that if any political party wants to form its government in CG, then the path to power comes from Bastar only. If any party registers victory in all the 12 assembly seats of Bastar, then it becomes easy to sit on the chair of power. At present, the Congress has captured all the 12 assembly seats in Bastar. Now it will be a big challenge for the BJP to capture all the seats in Bastar. BJP National President JP Nadda’s stay in Bastar is considered very important.
