Four accused of threatening and pelting stones at petrol pump arrested with fake gun in two hours

Raipur: Girdhar Gopal of Gopal Fuel in village Bhaurapachar of Junapara Chowki, Takhatpur, Bilaspur reached police station today at 10 am and told that four youths pelted stones and showed weapons for not giving petrol at his petrol pump in the night.

Soon after the complaint was received, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh, the police station in-charge SR Sahu immediately identified and caught four of the five accused with air guns (fake guns) within two hours. A case of 386 IPC (Blackmail) and Arms Act is being registered against the accused and sent to jail. One of the accused is a minor. A team has been sent for another absconding accused Manish Navrang.
The arrested accused includes Gaurav Mishra age 18 years, Deepak Mishra age 22 years, Amit Navrang age 22 years and minor 16 years of age.
