Chief Minister laid down the foundation stone for the renovation works of the historical Dey Bhawan

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel visited the Dey-Bhawan which was the residence of Narendrnath Datta who later came to be known as Swami Vivekananda. Baghel also laid the foundation stone for the restoration work of the historical Dey-Bhawan. Meanwhile, during his formative years in Raipur, Swami Vivekananda stayed in this very building. Baghel while laying down the foundation stone garlanded the statues of famous social worker Rai Bahadur Bhootnath Dey, social worker Abha Bose and Acharya Harinath De at De Bhawan. Director of Culture Department Vivek Acharya informed the Chief Minister about the outline prepared for developing this building as a memorial.
