Korba: SAGES student’s stamp design selected for national competition

Raipur: Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools are being run by the state government to provide English medium education to children belonging to economically weaker families. New talents are emerging from these state-run schools in the district. One such example is Anjana Vishwakarma, a class 11th student of Swami Atmanand English School, Pump House Korba, who has been selected among the best five participants in the state in the national postage stamp design competition. Her postage stamp design has been selected for the national competition.
The selection of the postal stamp of the student in the national competition is a matter of great pride for the school as well as the district. Expressing happiness, the school principal and all the teachers congratulated the student and her family for her achievement and gave her best wishes for her future endeavors. Student Anjana made a stamp design on the Vibrant India theme under the theme ‘Resolve @ 75’ out of the five themes set for the stamp design competition organized as a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Briefing about the national competition, School Principal Vivek Lande said that Freedom Struggle, Ideas at 75, Resolve at 75, Actions at 75, and Achievement at 75 are among the five themes for the stamp design competition of the Department of Posts under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Design on any theme was to be uploaded on the MyGov portal from 03 October 2022 to 29 November 2022. Following this, the five best participants are selected at the state level. Under this, student Anjana Vishwakarma has been selected among the five best participants at the state level. An amount of Rs 2000 and a gift has been provided to Anjana by the Department of Post on the selection of the student.
