Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel celebrated New Year with the labourers in Raipur. Wishing them a happy and prosperous New Yearm, Baghel also announced sops for them and their families and distributed blankets.
The Chief Minister said that the children of labourers are now joining the Air Force, they are becoming teachers.
On the reservation bill stuck in the Raj Bhavan, Baghel said that the bill passed in the assembly is called the property of the assembly. Questions are being asked on the bill by the Raj Bhawan. The Governor should either sign the bill or return it to the assembly.
The bill was passed in the Assembly on December 2, 2022 and one month has passed to the development, but the Governor is yet to sign the bill. The governor is stubborn on the bill, he said.
Why are the people of BJP not demanding that the Governor should sign the bill, because the Governor is working as per the instructions of the Ekatma Parisar, the state headquarter of the BJP. BJP leaders have two faces on reservation issue as they supported the bill in the assembly and now they are blocking it in the Raj Bhavan.
The Chief Minister announced the launch of the Chief Minister’s Basic Education Training Assistance Scheme to provide free of cost coaching and training to children of classes IV and V for admission in Sainik Schools, Navodaya and other private institutions.
In a gift for labourers and their children, the Chief Minister has announced to increase the amount of Mukhyamantri ShramikSahayata Yojana for the registered workers of Chhattisgarh Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Baghel has announced to provide free coaching facility to the children of labourers for competitive exams so that the children of laborers can prepare well for competitive exams.
The Chief Minister also announced assistance to children of labourers to study abroad, including new courses like Engineering, IIT, B.Tech, IIIT, M.Tech, MBBS, etc. He has also announced assistance of Rs 2,000 per year for stationery along with providing assistance in admission fee, educational fee, accommodation and food fee to the children of laborers for studying in all these courses.
