Farmers thanked CM, Food Min, Collector for the opening of new paddy procurement center in Chhaparwa

Raipur: Farmers of Chhaparwa, a remote village located in the Achanakmar Tiger Reserve area of Lormi development block thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, and District Collector Rahul Dev for the opening of the new paddy procurement center in their village. The delegation reached the district collectorate on Tuesday and handed over a thank-you letter along with a flower bouquet to the district collector.

Collector congratulated the farmers saying that with the opening of paddy procurement center, farmers will no longer have to travel long distances to sell their paddy. Now the paddy of the farmers will be sold in their village itself.

Meanwhile, as per the direction of chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, the state government has given approval for a new paddy procurement center in Chhaparwa village keeping in view the convenience of the farmers of this remote forest area of Mungeli district. This will facilitate the farmers of Chhaparwa and surrounding areas to sell paddy at the support price.
