Several new works will be done for the development of the new district, officers should work responsibly: CM Baghel

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday chaired a review meeting of officials of the newly formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district at Bilaigarh Rest House as a part of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. He instructed to probe the complaints of unauthorized dealings related to the Tribal Development Department received from the general public and resolve them at the earliest.
Stating that many new works will be done for the development of this newly formed district, he asked the officials to discharge their duties with utmost responsibility and contribute towards the development of the district. He asked to pace up the work of development of Gauthans in the district saying that this is a good source of employment and can prevent migration of labours.
Baghel instructed the officials to prepare ration cards for new families and caste certificates for the children of the Saavra caste. While reviewing the implementation of schemes, he directed to resolve the complaints regarding community and individual forestland rights. He also asked to take a look at the payment system of paddy procurement. He said that this is not a remote area, so there should not be any complaints about electricity here.
