10 nominated aldermen take oath for Raipur Municipal Corporation, Mayor attends ceremony
RAIPUR: Raipur District Collector Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh administered the oath of office to 10 newly nominated aldermen of the Raipur Municipal Corporation at the Collectorate boardroom on Thursday.
The 10 nominated members who took the oath in the name of God are Ramkinkar Singh, Vinay Ojha, Manish Karadbhuje, Mitrasen Dhiman, Raju Radhvani, Gopal Sona, B Srinivas Rao, Gopi Sahu, Vikram Singh Thakur, and Rishi Sahu. They were nominated by the Urban Administration and Development Department of the Chhattisgarh Government.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Choubey, Speaker Suryakant Rathore, Municipal Commissioner Sambit Mishra, Raipur Rural MLA representative Macmillan Sahu, and BJP Raipur city district president Ramesh Singh Thakur. Mayor-in-Council (MIC) members, ward councillors, Additional Municipal Commissioner Vinod Pandey, and Corporation Secretary Sangeeta Sahu were also present.
On the occasion, Mayor Meenal Choubey, Speaker Suryakant Rathore, Collector Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh, Municipal Commissioner Sambit Mishra, MLA representative Macmillan Sahu, and BJP city chief Ramesh Singh Thakur congratulated the newly sworn-in aldermen by presenting them with bouquets and extended their best wishes.
