Fake case of transaction through alleged diary in Education Department, Deputy Director lodged an FIR in the police station

Through an alleged diary in the Education Department, there was a false
allegation of money transactions in the name of posting. Allegations of
corruption were being made in the Education Department through a fake complaint
letter signed by Ashutosh Chavre, Deputy Director, Directorate of Public
Instruction, and it was being publicized through social media that transactions
were done in the lieu of recruitment of teachers.

Through
this fake complaint letter, an attempt was being made to tarnish the image of
the Education Department and its officers. After getting information about the
matter, Deputy Director of Directorate of Public Instruction Ashutosh Chavre
has lodged an FIR on his behalf at Rakhi Police Station, Nava Raipur. In FIR
No. 09/2022, Rakhi Police has registered a crime against the unknown person under
section 419 and section 469 of Indian Penal Code 1860.

Chavre
has said in his statement that for the last two months, fake complaint letters
are being prepared by unknown persons using, designation and seal and it is
being sent to public representatives and various institutions. According to Chavre,
his signature has been forged in the complaint letter containing the
allegations related to the transaction and through this, an attempt has been
made to malign his and the department’s image. Finding the complaint prima
facie true, Rakhi Police has registered an FIR in this matter.
