Chief Minister inaugurates the development work of the Mata Kaushalya temple complex at Chandkhuri.

Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the infrastructure development, renovation and beautification work of Mata Kaushalya temple complex under Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit at Chandkhuri near capital Raipur. He also inaugurated a 51 feet tall grand statue of Lord Ram built at the entrance amidst a beautiful light and fire show.
The Chief Minister prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state by offering prayers to Mata Kaushalya in the ancient temple situated in the middle of the Jalsen pond of Chandkhuri and Lord Ram, who was enshrined in her lap in child form.
Tourism Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahria, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya, Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma and Chairman of Gau Seva Aayog Mahant Ram Sundar Das, several parliamentary secretaries, MLAs and local public representatives were also present in the inauguration program in the temple premises.
