Raipur:Those who server people will get ticket in Assembly elections 2023: Purandeswari
BJP Chhattisgarh In-charge D Purandeswari on Sunday said that whoever works for the people will be the candidate in the Assembly elections to be held in Chhattisgarh in 2023. Speaking to media at party state office Kushabhau ThakreParishar in Raipur, Purandeswari said that there is no fixed criteria for the selection of candidates in the elections as far as BJP is concerned.
The other parties may have criteria such as people with rich background is given ticket, she said. Further, she made it clear that the BJP does not fight elections on face. The face will be decided only after the victory, she said adding only those who are dedicated to the service of people will be given an opportunity. The change will definitely come in 2023 Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, she claimed.
On employment issue, the party state in-charge said that when no industry has set up in the last three and a half years, how can youths of the state will get employment?
When asked if she is satisfied with the party leaders and workers after the review in the divisional level meetings of five divisions, Purandeswari said she will never be happy. “If I become happy the party will not grow and the party leaders and workers will stop working for the further growth of the party. We should work continuously for the growth of party,” she clarified. She said that the BJP will highlightsthe central schemes during the ongoing ‘VistarYojana’ and the failure of state government. If the state government is farmer sympathizer in real sense then the government should not force farmers to buy vermicompost which is not certified and filled with soil. Farmers are not being given loan if they are not buying vermicompost, she said.
