33 intern, 3 senior docs tested positive for Covid-19 in AIIMS Raipur
Raipur:In a major outbreak, 33 doctors doing their intern in All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur and three senior doctors were tested positive for Covid-19 positive on Thursday, sending an alarm among doctors fraternity in the state. It is worthwhile to mentioned, AIIMS management here had instructed all the doctors to undergo Covid test following which test was conducted on more than 100 doctors. So far, 33 intern doctors and three senior doctors were found positive for Covid. The might increase reports of the other doctors are disclosed.
According to AIIMS Raipur director Dr Nitin M Nagarkar, doctors getting infected while treating Covid patients is a normal thing. There is nothing to worry about junior doctors getting infected .
