Raipur After exit polls giving the ruling Congress party an edge over the BJP in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said to have claimed that his party is winning more than 60 seats. The results for the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly elections will be announced on December 3. Before that, exit polls have started to come out. According to them, the Congress seems to be gaining an advantage in the state. However, both the Congress and BJP are enthusiastic about the exit poll results. According to the exit polls by Axis India, Congress is predicted to win 40-50 seats, BJP 36-46, and others 1 to 5 seats in Chhattisgarh. There are a total of 90 seats in the state, with a majority set at 46. The interesting aspect is that both parties are claiming to form the government in the state. Meanwhile, BJP state president Arun Sao said that most polls have indicated that the party is forming a government in Chhattisgarh with strength. In the exit polls, BJP’s vote percentage appears to have increased the most in certain places. In some areas, the Congress and BJP are in an equal position. After the vote count on December 3rd, the BJP will come to power with a majority.
