Govt employees work five days a week in Chhattisgarh: Bhupesh Baghel
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that decision has been taken to enhance the work efficiency of the employees.
Rs 20000 will be deposited in the bank account of two daughters of labour families.
Jagdalpur:In major announcements, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the government employees of Chhattisgarh will work five days a week and the decision has been taken to enhance the work efficiency of the employees. The Chief Minister made this announcement in the 73rd Republic Day function organised at Jagdalpur on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister made about 15 announcements. The prominent among the announcements is Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana. Under the scheme, two daughters of labour families will be benefited. The state government will deposit an amount of Rs 20000 in the bank account of the first two daughters. The Chief Minister announced that the share of the state government under the contributory pension scheme of employees will be increased from 10% to 14%. Similarly, the chief minister announced that Shaheed Gundadhur State Level Archery Academy will be started in Jagdalpur to promote the sport.
Other announcements are necessary provisions will be made for regularization of commercial activities taking place in residential areas, a law will be brought this year for regularization of all irregular building construction, building permits will be issued without human intervention for plots of 500 square meters in investment areas outside the municipal corporation and government lease land will be held free in rural areas.
Similarly, the process of making a learning licence will be simplified, a large number of transport facilitation centres will be started for youth employment, Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme will be started in all the urban bodies of the state, a women’s safety cell will be formed in every district for the safety of women, 10% plots will be reserved for entrepreneurship development in other backward classes by amending the industrial policy, the purchase of pulse crops like Moong, Urad, Arhar etc. will also be done at Minimum Support Price in the state from the Kharif year 2022-23,.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid tributes to the martyrs at the martyr memorial located near Sirasar Bhawan. He also offered floral tributes to the statue of martyr Gundadhur located on Geedam Road.
