Raipur. The government is encouraging online delivery of liquor to control the rapidly increasing infection of Covid-19 and to prevent crowding in liquor shops. According to the information received from the Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited, the district managers have been directed to follow physical distancing and barricading in all the country and foreign liquor shops. Commercial Tax Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma has given instructions to follow the Covid-19 protocol. He said that people coming to liquor shops should wear masks and follow social distancing to protect against Coronavirus.
As per Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited instructions, there are arrangements for door delivery and self-pickup through online booking of liquor via delivery persons to avoid overcrowding in liquor shops. Consumers can download CSMCL ONLINE APP from Android Google Play Store or can order from https://csmcl.in in web browser for online liquor purchase. The district managers must make liquor orders received online available within a time-limit. The liquor shops also have posters for the promotion of COVID-19 prevention measures.
