CM Bhupesh Baghel pays tributes to Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh on his martyrdom day

Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday paid floral tributes to the portrait of Amar Shaheed
Gaind Singh on his martyrdom day, at his residence office here.
Recalling the
incomparable contribution of Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, Baghel said that Singh
had raised his voice against the slavery and exploitation of the British long
before the first war of Independence in 1857.
Zamindar Gaind Singh, who fought for the rights of the Abujhmadia
brothers and sisters of Bastar, was hanged in front of the palace of Paralkot
on January 20, 1825.
Baghel said that the
whole country, including Chhattisgarh, bows down to the brave son Shaheed Gaind
Singh. His sacrifices will be remembered for ages.
