Raipur: Chhattisgarh High Court has dismissed the petition filed in connection with the CBI investigation of Kawardha case.
The High Court has said that the petitioners can report to the local Superintendent of Police.
A communal riot broke out in Kawardha over installation of a flag last month. After this, Section 144 and later curfew was also imposed in the entire city.
A citizen Zubin Dubey has demanded a CBI inquiry in this case. The matter was heard before the bench of Justice Rajani Dubey. If any inquiry is wanted, he can report to the District Superintendent of Police, Kawardha, the High Court said.
