Two students were killed in an accident in Chhattisgarh’s capital.
Raipur. Speed claimed the lives of two Odisha students in the state capital Raipur on Tuesday morning. Both the youths are said to be aged between 22 and 23. According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a hoarding in the Kachna area of the capital city after getting uncontrolled.
Both the youths are from Odisha and died on the spot. The police sent their bodies to the Ambedkar Hospital for post-mortem.
After getting information from the local people, the police reached the spot. Based on the identity cards found on the youths, police communicated with their relatives, one of whom was pursuing his BCom course in a Raipur college.
The victims were from Sambalpur in Odisha. One of them, Sukhbir Singh, was pursuing his BCom at a private university in Raipur while the other was Ahmad Raza.
The incident happened between 3:00 am to 4:00 am on Tuesday. The youths died due to excess bleeding and the absence of timely medical attention, sources said.
Bikes and youths were lying in bushes in the vacant plot, hence passersby could spot the body around 6 am on Tuesday.
