Bijapur. Six days have passed since the abduction of engineer Ashok Pawar and mason Anand Yadav from a bridge under construction on the Indravati river in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. But so far no clue of the kidnappers has been found. Nor has any initiative been reported from the administration in this direction. Sonali Pawar, wife of Ashok Pawar, has been searching for her husband in the jungles. Sonali is scouring the forests in search of her husband carrying her little girl in her arms. Sonali has told the Naxalites through the media that till the safe release of her husband, she will remain there. She stands near the river all day to see her husband, or if someone will bring his news. Sonali has been staying in Bedre since the past four days.


On the other hand, Nandkumar Sai, one of the prominent tribal leaders of Chhattisgarh, has appealed to the Naxalites to release both men. He has said that Naxalites are not going to get anything by kidnapping or punishing innocent people in this way. If Naxalites have any problem, then they should sit and talk with the administration. 

Sonali, the wife of the kidnapped engineer, has also appealed to the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for help. His little daughter, Nikita Pawar, has made a touching appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Nikita said to the Prime Minister, please get our father released.
