Voting for Bhanupratappur by-election concludes peacefully

Raipur: The Voting for Bhanupratappur assembly by-election was completed peacefully on Monday with no untoward incident was reported during the polling. The voting was successfully completed in a total of 256 polling stations for the by-election. Chhattisgarh’s Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale has thanked all the officers-employees and polling personnel involved in the election work for making the entire polling process peaceful and uninterrupted.

According to the information received from the Returning Officer’s Office of Bhanupratappur Assembly Constituency, there were one lakh 95 thousand 822 valid voters in Bhanupratappur Assembly Constituency. Of these, there were 95 thousand 266 male and one lakh 555 female voters. As per the un-final figures after the end of polling till 3 pm on the polling day today, the total voting percentage stood at 71.74. 73.25 per cent were male voters and 70.31 per cent female voters of the assembly constituency exercised their right to vote.
