Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai’s Cabinet expansion likely on Tuesday


The expansion of Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai’sCabinet is likely to take place on Tuesday. Sources have indicated that eight ministers, including RaigarhMLA O P Choudhary, may take the oath during a ceremony at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur. It’s worth mentioning that the Vidhan Sabha’s winter session will commence on Tuesday, consisting of a total of three sittings.

It has been learned that IAS-turned-politician O P Chaoudhary’s name is almost finalized for the Cabinet, while the name of another IAS-turned-politician, Neelkanth Tekam, is also circulating.

The names of veteran leaders Brijmohan Agrawal, Ajay Chandrakar, and Guru Khushwant Saheb are reportedly being considered from the Raipur division for the Cabinet. From the Raipur division, Tribal leader Ramvichar Netam, Renuka Singh, and Gomti Sai, and from the Bilaspur division, Amar Agrawal and Dharamlal Kaushik, are among the other names being considered for the Cabinet.

Sources also mention that Chief Minister Sai will be visiting Delhi on December 22, following the winter session of the Assembly on December 21. Meanwhile, preparations for the oath-taking ceremony of Cabinet ministers are in full swing at the Indoor Stadium.
