Chhattisgarh records 904.1 mm average rainfall so far

Raipur: An average rainfall of 904.1 mm has been recorded in Chhattisgarh since June 1, 2022. The highest rainfall of 1906.1 mm was recorded in the Bijapur district while the Surguja district recorded the lowest average rainfall of 362.3 mm. This is according to the district-wise rainfall statistics from June 01 to August 16.

According to the information received from the state-level control room for flood disaster management, Surajpur has received 523.0 mm of rainfall since June 1. Similarly, Balrampur received 476.2 mm rainfall, Jashpur 533.1 mm, Koriya 540.7 mm, Raipur 690.1 mm, Balodabazar 909.0 mm, Gariyaband 971.0 mm, Mahasamund 936.0 mm, Dhamtari 976.7 mm, Bilaspur 1028.4 mm, Mungeli 969.3 mm, Raigarh 870.2 mm, Janjgir-Champa 1060.8 mm, Korba 809.5 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 774.1 mm, Durg 796.6 mm, Kabirdham 874.0 mm, Rajnandgaon 949.1 mm, Balod 1028.1 mm, Bemetara 565.0 mm, Bastar 1291.5 mm, Kondagaon 1049.5 mm, Kanker 1178.1 mm, Narayanpur 1075.6 mm, Dantewada 1302.9 mm and Sukma recorded an average rainfall of 867.5 mm.
