Chhattisgarh Extends School Holidays Until June 25 Due to Heat Wave

In light of the heat wave condition, Chhattisgarh Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal has announced holidays for all schools in the state of Chhattisgarh until June 25. Consequently, all government and private schools in the state will remain closed until June 25 and will reopen on June 26. Earlier, it was decided to reopen on June 18.
Agrawal stated that this decision was made due to the heat and heat waves in Chhattisgarh. The heat is at its peak in most areas of the state, causing discomfort to most people. The general public is facing difficulties due to the heat and sun. This decision was made considering the troubles children might face due to the heat. Parents are also concerned about their children’s health.
Agrawal mentioned that there were numerous requests from parents to extend the summer vacation. Consequently, the government has decided to extend the summer vacation until June 26, and necessary directions have been issued to the concerned authorities.
