Woman Jumps to Death from 6th Floor in Raipur; Dispute with Boyfriend Suspected

Raipur
In a tragic incident in Raipur, a 27-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the sixth floor of an apartment building. The incident took place in the Rajendra Nagar police station area, and preliminary investigation suggests that a dispute with her boyfriend may have led her to take the extreme step.

The deceased, identified as Jaswinder Kaur, was originally from Dabrapara, Bhilai, and had been living in a rented flat with a friend in Sai Dream Society, Amlihdih. The incident occurred around midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to police, Jaswinder went to the terrace alone without informing her flatmate and began walking around before suddenly jumping off.
The loud sound of her fall alerted nearby residents, who rushed to the spot. She sustained a severe head injury from the impact and died on the spot. Blood was scattered in the area, and society members immediately informed the police. Her body was sent for post-mortem after completing inquest formalities.

Police have notified Jaswinder’s mother, who resides in Visakhapatnam. Jaswinder, whose father is deceased, was a makeup artist by profession but had not been working for the past few weeks. Her family is reportedly in deep shock and grief.

Investigators suspect that a conflict with her boyfriend may have been a contributing factor to her suicide. Police are examining Jaswinder’s mobile phone and are questioning her friends and relatives to gather more information. The investigation is ongoing.
