Unemployment Allowance Scheme: CM transferred an amount of Rs 16 crore into the bank accounts of 66, 265 youths of the state

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel transferred an amount of Rs 16 crore to the bank accounts of 66, 256 beneficiaries of the unemployment allowance scheme, in the programme organized at his office here on Sunday. Each of the beneficiaries received an amount of Rs 2500 yesterday, and they will be provided this allowance every month.
In his virtual address to the beneficiaries, chief minister said that the monthly unemployment allowance will help the youngsters pursue higher education, prepare for competitive exams and undertake the skill development training. He said that an action plan has been prepared to provide employment opportunities to the beneficiaries.
Chief minister added that the application process for the unemployment allowance is simple and can be done online. In the first month itself, we have transferred more than Rs 16 crores through DBT in the accounts of the beneficiaries. Earlier the eligibility criteria for this allowance were complicated but now the State Government has simplified it. People with family income of up to Rs 2.5 lakh are eligible.
Baghel said that he has distributed the unemployment allowance today but the actual purpose will be served when each of the beneficiary get employment. We have chalked out an action plan for 6 months for this purpose, while arrangements are also being made for training and recruitment of the beneficiaries. . Chief Minister interacted with the beneficiaries online and offline
Chief minister discussed unemployment allowance scheme with the beneficiaries present in the programme and those who connected online from across the state. Hitesh of Surguja told that this amount will help in further studies. Megha Khandekar told that her mother is a housewife. This money will help her to fulfill her dreams. She promised to make better use of the money provided under the scheme.
Komal from Koriya told that she is pursuing M.Sc. and wants to become a teacher in future. Komal told that she will use this amount for her studies. Aishwarya Sahu of Durg told that she has done B.Ed. Now she will study further, while looking for good employment opportunities. Aishwarya also showed the SMS to the Chief Minister which notified the receipt of the allowance amount into her account through DBT. Priyanka Paikra of Surguja told that she will utilize the allowance to prepare for competitive exams.
Rishabh Chandrakar from Mahasamund told that earlier he had to worry about the fee for his coaching classes but now with the unemployment allowance every month, he will be able to prepare for the competitive exams without any stress. Mitanjali told that I will run tuition classes with your money and teach mathematics to people for free.
Sanjana Tiwari of Raipur said that students depend on their families to prepare for their competitive exams. Now with this allowance, we are not dependent on the family members. She told that she aims to become a deputy collector. Gajanand told that my parents are labourers and their financial condition is weak. He wants to prepare for competitive exams. A young man from Khairagarh told that he is the only BEd in his village. Now with the allowance, he will prepare for teacher recruitment. Chief Minister said that the aim of providing this allowance is to help the youth of the state to fulfill their dreams.
