Six miners died when a mine in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district collapsed. Five women and one man Perished. A 14-year-old girl is also among those hurt. Both are receiving care at a nearby hospital.
Because more people could be beneath the debris, the rescue team conducted a lengthy search by removing rubble. The rescue operation was called off; after removing the debris and confirming that no more people were there. The police and administration teams have already left the scene.

The mine, according to the information, is located in Malgaon. Some villagers were extracting soil from the mine’s bottom when the ground suddenly caved in. Other workers immediately alerted the administration. The NDRF and SDRF teams arrived and began the rescue operation.

The people buried under the debris were taken out and immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where seven people were declared dead. The treatment of two injured people is going on. According to the doctors, the condition of both is out of danger.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed grief over the accident in Malgaon Chuikhadan. He has expressed his heartfelt condolences for the villagers’ deaths. The CM has announced that the deceased’s next of kin will each receive Rs 4 lakh in financial assistance. Along with this, instructions have been given to the officers for better treatment of all the injured.
