Four startups from Chhattisgarh awarded at India First Tech Startup Conclave

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and Industries minister Kawasi Lakhma have congratulated all the startup companies and officers of State’s Industries Department, for having received the award at First Tech Start Up Conclave. This conclave was organized by All India Council for Robotics and Automation in Bangalore on June 8 and 9, with an objective to encourage the startup companies across the country.

Industries department officials said that the start-ups of Chhattisgarh that were awarded at the conclave in Bengaluru are as follows- Smart Yatri Pvt Ltd in the Immobility category, Greenfield Ecosolutions Pvt Ltd in the Women category, Siddhartha Agro Marketing and Logistics Pvt Ltd in the Agritech category, and  in the Blockchain Technology category, Prominent Innovation Lab Private Limited was given the Best Startup Award. Indira Gandhi Agricultural University – Rabi was awarded as the best incubation center for Startup Incubation. At the conclave, Department of Commerce and Industry Joint Director Sanjay Gajaghate gave presentation on the startup ecosystem in Chhattisgarh and also provided detailed information about the grants provided by the department for startups. He invited the investors to invest in startups in the state.

A total of 12 startup companies from Chhattisgarh were shortlisted for the awards at this conclave, out of which four were selected. Assistant director Suman Devangan and Manager Hemesh Devangan also represented the department at the conclave.
