CM Baghel chairs SC, ST Act review meeting 

Raipur: State level meeting of The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 was held today at the chief minister’s residence office here. Baghel chaired the review meeting. In the meeting, the benefits available to the ST, SC category under various provisions and the resolution of cases registered under the Act-1989 in 2019, 2020 and 2021 were reviewed. Along with this, the relief amount sanctioned in 2019, 2020 and 2021 under the relevant Act was also reviewed. Chief minister directed all the district collectors to conduct review meetings at the district level and sub-division level within stipulated time frame.
