The CBI team from Delhi carried out Operation Megh Chakra to nab those who share, upload or download pornographic content related to children on the Internet. As part of this operation, two accused have been arrested by the CBI team in Raipur. They have been caught from Kota under Saraswati Nagar police station area of the city.
A case was registered against them in Delhi. On the basis of the IP address of the Internet, the CBI team reached Raipur searching for these miscreants. The accused are being interrogated.
The CBI conducted simultaneous raids at 59 places in 21 states due to Operation ‘Megh Chakra’.

CBI officers got input from Interpol that video photos of sexual abuse of children are being sent to foreign sites. The raids were conducted on the basis of information received from Singapore. New Zealand police also sent information. Action is being taken against several Indian citizens found involved in viral/downloading/sharing of child sexual abuse content using cloud-based storage.
More than 50 suspects have been detained from various parts of the country including Raipur. The CBI team is confiscating electronic gadgets including their mobiles, laptops. In this, child sexual abuse material related to children has been found. CBI officers are trying to reach the children seen in the video or photo, and then the victims and the exploiters can be identified.
10 months ago there was a raid in Korba
A similar Operation Karbonn was conducted 10 months ago. Then there was a raid in Korba also. The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) also reached Chhattisgarh in search of criminals running child pornography rackets on the Internet. Then raided 77 places in 14 states in the country. It also includes the pass of Korba (Chhattisgarh). From here the officers had taken a person along. Then things came to the fore about his being associated with a political party.
