Gudhiyari police has succeeded in arresting two bookies. 18 thousand rupees cash and betting strips were seized from bookie Awadhesh Gupta who was running betting by conducting a raid behind Jhabak petrol pump and bookie Bishun Sahu, resident of Shitala Mandir, was arrested near Bajrang Nagar police station, Azad Chowk district Raipur and seized from his possession.Cash amount of Rs 17500 and betting strips were seized and crime number 558/23, crime number 559/23 were registered against the bookies in police station Gudhiyari under section 6 of Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act and action was taken against the accused.
